ABSTRACT
The da Vinci SP® robotic system enables three double-jointed wristed instruments and a fully three-dimensional camera to be placed through single port. This study presents our experience with robot-assisted ureteral reconstruction using the SP reports its outcomes. Between December 2018 April 2022, surgeon performed in 39 patients: 18 underwent pyeloplasty 21 received reimplantation. Demographic perioperative patient data were collected analyzed. Radiographic symptomatic improvements assessed 3 months after surgery. In group, 12 patients (66.7%) female two (11.1%) had undergone previous surgery for obstruction. median operative time was 152 minutes, blood loss 8 mL, length of stay hospital days. There one case complication involving postoperative percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN). reimplantation 19 (90.5%) ten (47.6%) gynecological that caused 10 4 We observed open conversion cases complications (colonic serosal tearing PCN ileal ureter replacement). radiographic results symptoms successfully improved following both surgeries. Despite adhesion-related complications, appears safe effective use reconstruction.
