ABSTRACT
Indoor air relative humidity is an important parameter influencing the hygro-thermal performance of building structures and indoor climate as well. In order to predict resultant in zone for designed surfaces moisture production/ventilation regime suggest possible improvements, a sufficiently accurate dynamic model necessary.
The computational codes simulating interaction between interior hygroscopic materials can be divided roughly into two groups: using simple lumped models detailed description heat mass transfer phenomena structures.
Ability one simplified – based on EMPD concept was evaluated case that main EPMD approach assumption limited thickness material fulfilled. practise penetration depth fulfilled when most are represented by room equipment (carpets, furniture) or with water vapour barrier under layer.
The evaluation done comparison simulation results complex code NPI PenDepth concept. On base reliability different regimes, outdoor weather changes temperature determined.
