ABSTRACT
Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) caused by the SFTS virus (SFTSV), a phlebovirus in family Bunyaviridae, is an emerging tick-borne infectious disease that impacts humans. This manifests as decreased blood cell count and multi-organ failure, case-fatality rate of more than 12% China.Because vaccines or antiviral drugs for treatment this are not available, monitoring circulation animals controlling tick-mammal cycle important preventing SFTS.Monoclonal antibodies against recombinant nucleoprotein SFTSV were generated to develop competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (cELISA) detection infection cattle. The specificity sensitivity cELISA was assessed comparing results those immunofluorescence (IFA).The using 416 field bovine serum samples laboratory-immunized positive sera showed 98.1% consistency IFA.The used study did show cross-reactivity antisera other viral cattle diseases. The presented can be applied detect cattle.
