ABSTRACT
A 7-month-old intact female Persian cat was diagnosed with symblepharon accompanied by epiphora, brownish ocular discharge, and discomfort in the left eye. Superficial keratectomy (SK) performed to remove adhesions between conjunctiva cornea. To prevent re-adhesion after SK, detached conjunctival tissue sutured corneal limbus, a soft contact lens (SCL) inserted partial temporary tarsorrhaphy performed. The SCL sutures were maintained for 22 days, did not recur 347 days postoperatively. SK combined is relatively easy cost-effective surgical option feline symblepharon.
