ABSTRACT
Seafloor hydrothermal deposits, which were formed by deposition of precipitates from fluids vented seafloor, are one unconventional mineral resources beneath deep seafloors in the Exclusive Economic Zone Japan. The authors have proposed a concept for Mineral Processing Seafloor, where useful minerals separated on seafloor and then lifted while remaining gangue is disposed appropriate ways. In this paper studied new ball milling system was adapted under processing. A simulator mill grinding using simple discrete element method built analysis. simulation two conditions examined: enclosing inside with air sea water. Especially we discussed implementability fulfilled water because ease installation real operation. Consequently, it suggested that phenomenon can be performed effectively increase existence ratio iron first quadrant mill. case filled up water, expected crushing efficiency increases carrying out at high rotational rate mixture small size.
