ABSTRACT
TGF-β plays a central role in epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), which is highly conserved and reversible process that governs tumor development, invasion metastasis.Through this transition, the epithelial cell acquires migratory behavior allows it to move away from community integrate into surrounding tissue. The cells lost phenotypes including change of polarity loss specialized cell-cell contacts, related with shortage E-cadherin directly. The increasing reports indicated down-regulated expression through snail signaling pathway, played an important development EMT.In review, we summarized contribution EMT discussed molecular mechanism participating regulation triggered by TGF-β.
