A Symbol-wise Ordered Successive Interference Cancellation Detector for Layered Space-Time Block Codes

ABSTRACT
We propose a detector for MLSTBC (Multilayered Space-Time Block Codes), which applies the global optimization to minimize total square error. The proposed compares errors of all signals each possible detection order, choose order with smallest errors. It improves performance existing MLSTBC. With respect MLSTBC, has gain about 0.8 dB at BER=10-2.
