ABSTRACT
AbstractStore-operated Ca2+ entry (SOCE) is a mechanism regulated by the filling state of intracellular stores that requires participation sensor STIM1, which communicates content to plasma membrane Ca2+-permeable channels. We have recently reported Orai1 mediates communication between STIM1 and channel hTRPC1. This event important confer hTRPC1 store depletion sensitivity, thus supporting functional role STIM1-Orai1-hTRPC1 complex in activation SOCE. Here we explored relevance lipid rafts formation Disturbance raft domains, using methyl-β-cyclodextrin, reduces interaction endogenously expressed both upon attenuates thapsigargin-evoked entry. These findings suggest TRPC1, form heteromultimer associated with domains stores. This article related to:
