ABSTRACT
BACKGROUNDS/OBJECTOVES: Family has an impact on dietary intake of children as a proximal food environment and family structures are changing becoming more diverse.This study was performed to identify the association between structure group aged 3-18 years in Korea.SUBJECTS/METHODS: A total 3,217 with complete data variables for household information, sampling weights were obtained from 2010-2011 Korea National Health Nutrition Examination Survey.Children's classified into 3 groups (Living both parents, Living one parent without parents).To evaluate children's intake, scores individual ('Grains', 'Meat, Fish, Eggs Beans', 'Vegetables', 'Fruits' 'Milk Dairy products') calculated percent adherence recommended servings Korean Food Guidance System (KFGS).'Food mean score' by calculating average five scores.RESULTS: After adjusting age, sex, number members, income, living parents had higher (P < 0.01), products' 0.05), score 0.001) compared parent.Individual associated different socio-demographic factors children.Family 'Fruits,' scores.CONCLUSIONS: These results suggested that approach might be required solve nutrition problem depending their other factors.
