ABSTRACT
Several recent clinical trials reported that intralymphatic immunotherapy (ILIT) for some allergens, such as cat dander and pollen, induce tolerance more rapidly than conventional subcutaneous or sublingual immunotherapy, have a comparable duration of effect after only 3 injections, do not provoke serious local systemic reactions. However, the efficacy safety ILIT are using Dermatophagoides farinae (Df), pteronyssinus (Dp), dog, which indoor allergens commonly found globally, need to be evaluated.Furthermore, use multiple in should investigated. We assessed adverse effects aqueous Df, Dp, mixtures thereof patients with allergic rhinitis.A total 11 subjects AR sensitized cat, and/or dog received inguinal injections allergen extract (HollisterStier, New Orleans, LA, USA).Clinical parameters were before ILIT, 4 months 1 year first injection.Rhinitis symptoms alleviated quality life was improved (P=0.012 P=0.007, respectively), these improvements lasted (P=0.047 P=0.009, respectively). However, we observed 2 cases anaphylaxis, one case moderate-to-severe hypersensitivity reaction other severe at injection site ILIT.In conclusion, can improve allergy life, this lasts year.In hypersensitized patients, however, reactions when performed extracts.
