ABSTRACT
This study was performed to establish and validate a nomogram for predicting the overall survival in children with neuroblastoma. The latest clinical data of neuroblastoma Surveillance, Epidemiology, End Results (SEER) database extracted from 2000 2016. The cases included were randomly divided into training validation cohorts. curves drawn Kaplan-Meier estimator investigate influences certain single factors on survival. Also, least absolute shrinkage selection operator regression applied further select prognostic variables neuroblastoma. Additionally, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) calibration used evaluate accuracy nomogram. In total, 1,262 patients collected 8 independent achieved, including patients' age, sex, race, tumor grade, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, site, size. Then we constructed by using cohort 886 cases. Subsequently, validated internally externally 376 cases, respectively. internal revealed that area under (AUC) ROC 1-, 3-, 5-year 0.69, 0.78, 0.81, Accordingly, external also showed AUC all ≥0.69. Both methods demonstrated predictive consistent standard curves. The possess potential be new tool rate patients.
