ABSTRACT
Retrospective study. We compared the accuracy of O-arm-based navigation with computed tomography (CT)-based in scoliotic surgery. No previous reports comparing results conventional CT-based surgery have been published.A total 222 pedicle screws were implanted 29 patients using (group C) and 416 32 O). Postoperative CT was performed to assess screw accuracy, established Neo classification (grade 0: no perforation, grade 1: perforation <2 mm, 2: ≥2 <4, 3: ≥4 mm).In group C, 188 (84.7%) placements categorized as 0, 23 (10.4%) 1, 11 (5.0%) 2, 0 3. In O, 351 (84.4%) 52 (12.5%) 13 (3.1%) Statistical analysis showed significant difference prevalence 2.3 perforations between groups C O. The time position one screw, including registration, 10.9±3.2 minutes but significantly decreased 5.4±1.1 O.O-arm-based facilitates insertion accurately navigation. use successfully reduced time, demonstrating advantages safety placement for surgery.
