ABSTRACT
This study presented the removal of methylene blue in batch system based on catalytic ozonation (heterogeneous and homogenous). The effect variables such as initial MB (methylene blue)concentration, pH solution (3-11), contact time (5-40 min), catalyst dosage homogeneous heterogeneous systems was examined. findings research showed that dye better alkaline conditions. amount removed acidic conditions slightly than neutral (approximately 10% to 15%). In addition, efficiency decreased by increasing concentration. Besides, (dosage) increased, had been increased 40%. Due use catalyst, significant difference between two processes single (SOP) (COPs). results indicated thatMB degradation COPs several times faster 4.7 times). It due numerous advantages these environmental pollutants, they can be widely used various pollutants if their cost reduced.
