ABSTRACT
Oman is located in the tropic of Cancer with extremely hot temperatures ranging between 15˚C -25˚C winter and 30 -48˚C summer low rainfall. Most water source desalinated seawater.Recycling sewage effluent a common practice used for farming, public parks industry. The dried sludge product as fertilizer. The highly concentrated heavy metals either incinerated or buried landfills.Heavy were analyzed compared treated (TSE), slurry sludge, landfill underground water.Heavy metal concentrations using inductive coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICP-OES).All samples contained same different concentrations. The heaviest Zn, Cr, Cu Ni traces V, Cd, Pb Ba.TSE main sources contamination.Due to evaporation, higher TSE water.Dried than others.Based on this investigation, it appears that from originated mainly industries. If infiltration continues, will be serious environmental health problem future.
