ABSTRACT
Structural macromolecular parameters of normal and treated (acid & alkali) polyester fibers have been investigated using Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) technique.Average diameters were calculated from Scanning electron microscope (SEM) micrographs mechanical estimated Instron.Further, crystallinity the same determined diffraction (XRD) Thermal analysis. These results supplement findings SAXS, SEM Instron.Comparison analysis confirm some changes in microstructure fiber after chemical treatment due to breaking macromolecules. The conclude that degradation acid is more than alkali fiber.
