ABSTRACT
The results of an experimental investigation the plasma dynamics in a magnetically insu- lated ion diode bipolar-pulse mode are presented. experiments were done at pulsed TEMP-4M accelerator by formation first negative pulse (100 ns, 150-200 kV) and second positive (80 250-300 kV). voltage-current characteristics used to analyze behavior anode- cathode gap. It is shown that, during pulse, discrete emissive surface formed on graphite potential electrode forms explosive-emission, which before comes, fills whole working spreads anode-cathode An analytical expression obtained for total current cellular structure approximation. that build-up with dis- crete emitting centers described satisfac- torily modified Child-Langmuir formula wi- th form factor decreasing from F = 6 1. found once gra- phite complete until speed constant equals 1.3 ± 0.2 cm/μs.
