ABSTRACT
Great efforts were being made to stop the spread and impact of coronavirus pandemic through vaccines.Cameroon began vaccinating healthcare workers (HCWs) against COVID-19 vaccines on March, 2021.However, willingness be vaccinated highly depends factors other than vaccine availability.This study sought measure acceptance rate related for vaccination among HCWs in Yaoundé, Cameroon.A cross-sectional was conducted with 510 Yaounde, Cameroon.Data collected, reviewed, entered into Excel 2016, exported SPSS version 25.0 analysis.The dependent variable was: COVID-19, independent variables included sociodemographic factors, attitudes, perceptions toward vaccines.A binary logistic regression model used determine associations between variables.From bivariate analysis, p-values < 0.25 retained multivariate analysis.Multivariate analysis shows that AOR 0.05 at 95% CI are significantly associated refusal HCWs.Overall, percentage sufficient attitudes 45.5% 52.8%, respectively.68.4% accepted vaccinated, but 31.6% it.Negative (AOR: 4411; [2.324 -8.372]) acceptance.Nearly half (39.8%) said could exacerbate existing conditions.Willingness
