ABSTRACT
VLF/LF (20 - 300 kHz) radio waves propagation is affected by different factors such as meteorological conditions, solar bursts and geomagnetic activity. At the same time, variations of some parameters in ground, atmosphere ionosphere occurring during preparatory phase earthquakes can produce disturbances previous signals along their paths: these are precursors. Since 2009, several receivers have been installed throughout Europe order to realize a European (VLF/LF) network for studying precursors earthquakes, called INFREP network. In this paper, at first description present situation presented, that is: location receivers, transmitters whose signal sampled, daily download data collected on server method analysis used individuate possible Then results obtained occasion recent (2016-2017) seismic activities which occurred "sensitive" zone presented. The case examined October 30, 2016 earthquake with Mw = 6.5, Central Italy, near Norcia small town; was preceded strong shock (Mw 5.9) 4 days before. second presented 6.7) offshore July 20, 2017, coast Turkey Kos island (Greece) third August 8, 2017 5.0, also (Greece). all cases anomalies were revealed receiver located Cyprus. influence causes from seismicity activity burst, malfunction and/or has none convincing connections appeared. So, possibility seems realistic. Finally, discrepancy respect general peculiarities discussed.
