ABSTRACT
Recent studies have shown an association between thrombosis and factor VII (FVII), tissue (TF), angiotensinconverting enzyme (ACE).This suggests that individuals with FVII-402 G/A, FVII-401 G/T, TF+5466 A/G, ACE-287 insertion/ deletion (I/D) polymorphisms present increased risk of venous thrombosis, heart disease, ischemic stroke compared controls. In this study, we investigated the frequencies these their arterial thrombosis. For G/A polymorphism, there were 57.3% heterozygote (HT) genotypes 8.3% homozygote (HM) in patients, 45.2% HT 15.4% HM controls. For ©FUNPEC-RP www.funpecrp.com.brGenetics Molecular Research 14 (3): 9585-9594 (2015) G/T 37.5% 3.1% 32.7% 4.8% controls. The polymorphism A/G was not found any samples analyzed. For I/D 43 (40.6%)HT 63 (59.4%)HM controls 28 (45.2%)HT 34 (54.8%)HM patients. No significant difference observed by comparing patients no presence evaluated occurrence thrombotic events.
