ABSTRACT
We investigated the effect of high phosphorus content on sodium-phosphate cotransporter (NaPi-IIa and NaPi-IIl).Forty-eight Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups: high-phosphorus group (HP) with fructose diphosphate sodium injection; self-manufactured lowphosphorus diet (LP); normal (NP).At 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th weeks, 4 from each sacrificed for detecting serum levels calcium, phosphorus, intact parathyroid hormone.Semi-quantitative retrovirus-polymerase chain reaction was used to detect expression NaPi-IIa NaPi-III mRNA in kidney. At hormone HP significantly higher than those LP NP groups (P < 0.05).Serum calcium showed no difference > 0.05).Comparing groups, reduced 0.05), while began NaPi ©FUNPEC-RP www.funpecrp.com.brGenetics Molecular Research 14 (4): 19404-19410 (2015) increasing at 4th week 0.05).At HP, LP, clear differences group, slightly increased compared 0.05).Hyperphosphatemia affected expression, a factor promote an increase independently calcium.
