ABSTRACT
Ixiolirion is a genus of unresolved taxonomy.DNA barcoding technique that allows species identification using standardized DNA sequences. In this study, total 23 individuals, representing 2 Chinese species, were sampled to test the effectiveness 3 barcodes [internal transcribed spacer (ITS), chloroplast tRNA intron, and megakaryocyte-associated tyrosine kinase] for identification.Of barcodes, ITS displayed maximum level polymerase chain reaction sequencing success as well highest sequence variation.Intra-specific distances ITS, kinase 0, 0-0.1%, respectively, with 8.3, 0.6, 0.5% mean inter-specific distances, respectively. All individuals each formed monophyletic group (clade) in neighborjoining trees constructed single-DNA barcodes. Our results demonstrated megakaryocyteassociated markers could be used efficiently ©FUNPEC-RP www.funpecrp.com.br
