ABSTRACT
We measured NF-κB, IKK, c-Fos, and GRα mRNA expression in vivo glucocorticoid sensitivity patients with rheumatoid arthritis. A very low dose intravenous dexamethasone suppression test real-time PCR quantitation of these genes were performed on blood samples from 21 arthritis who not glucocorticoids during the previous four months 20 healthy individuals. Mean duration was 8.8 years, mean disease activity, as assessed by Disease Activity Score 28 (DAS28), 4.45. Basal cortisol percentage reduction after test, well expression, similar among groups. did observe significant correlations between DAS28. There a positive correlation DAS28 GRα, but c-Fos. In multivariate analysis, only NF-κB remained an independent variable for predicting
