ABSTRACT
Lophostoma carrikeri is a bat species widely distributed in the northern portion of South America and has been reported great variety forested habitats. However, it still poorly represented scientific collections wildlife surveys. In Brazil, L. known mainly for Amazon basin few localities Cerrado Caatinga biomes. Here we report first records from states Minas Gerais Ceará based on specimens examined taxonomic collected during fieldwork. These new represent easternmost limits distribution expand its geographic range approximately 488 km southeast 490 east nearest (São Domingos, state Goiás Teresina, Piauí). We also provide measurements, comments morphological variation an overall review distribution.
