ABSTRACT
The adoption of electronic dental records (EDRs) is less extensively studied than medical (EMRs) in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, a multivariate analysis was conducted to calculate the EDRs and determine practice characteristics that influence adoption.An online survey with 220 practices Jeddah from August December 2021. questionnaire contained 10 items measured identified region, district, characteristics, size. A regression used ascertain relationships between EDR predictor variables.About 93% practices, we surveyed had adopted EDRs. Public large were associated higher rates (respectively, 97.0%, p = 0.016; 97.8%, 0.009). logistic model showed statistically significant results regarding size, acceptance insurance patients. 89% likely for private 99% smaller (≥2 dentists), 98% did not treat patients insurance.Our study sample high rate adoption.
