A total of 451 stool specimens were collected from children less than five years age with acute diarrhea Ifakara, Tanzania and processed to detect bacterial enteropathogens, parasites, rotaviruses. These divided into 348 the dry season 103 rainy season. Overall, diarrheogenic Escherichia coli (35.7%) predominant enterotoxigenic E. coli, enteroaggregative enteropathogenic being most prevalent.
