ABSTRACT
Objective: Although the most effective current treatment method for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is liver transplantation (LT), some patients may have a recurrence of HCC after transplantation. In our study, we investigated laboratory and histopathological factors that think predict before in who underwent LT due to HCC.Methods: Pre post clinical, laboratory, imaging data 66 approximately 2017-2020 hospital were retrospectively reviewed. The developed examined detail. Results:Recurrence seven (10.61%) HCC.The mean age with without relapse was 60.14 58.63 years, respectively. Most men, all men.In recurrence, maximum tumor diameter measured macroscopically (5 cm; 2.7 cm, p=0.002) presence lymphovascular invasion (42.9%; 10.2%, p=0.048) significantly higher than those recurrence.Serum alpha feto protein (AFP) values at postoperative 3 rd , 6 th 9 months (p=0.001,p=0.004, p<0.001, respectively) group. Conclusion:In it determined increasing perioperative size, increased AFP can recurrence.
