ABSTRACT
Recurrent cesarean deliveries are associated with intra-abdominal adhesions, and these adhesions affect maternal neonatal morbidity. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between severity striae gravidarum (SG) detected during section (CS). In prospective, case-control study, women undergoing a second CS were divided into three groups according SG (group 1 - no SG; group 2 mild 3 moderate severe SG). Demographic clinical characteristics, grade Fitzpatrick skin type (FST), serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D [25(OH)D] levels assessed in all groups. A total 150 cases equal There significant difference body mass index among (p=0.155). Although lower observed compared other (p=0.034), not level (p=0.281). All 2-4 occurred SG. Intra-abdominal adhesion absent 92% (p<0.001) pregnancies where detected. No FST 80% 6 skin, found (p<0.001). Pregnant dark at high-risk increased incidence subsequent CS.
