GIANT CELL TUMOR OF THE THORACAL SPINE: CASE REPORT

ABSTRACT
Giant cell tumor is one of the benign tumors bone that typically originate from meta-epiphysial ends long bones.It constitutes approximately 5% to 10% all in adults.These rarely seen spine often present with nonspecific localized pain due involvement.Diagnosis made by demonstrating osteolytic lesion direct X-ray and computed tomography.Surgical excision, radiotherapy immunotherapy are main treatment modalities.Herein we report a young female patient presented our clinic back hypoesthesia her legs.Lytic second thoracic vertebra was radiologically demonstrated.After subtotal histopathological examination revealed giant bone.Diagnosis approaches case were discussed reviewing literature.
