ABSTRACT
Objective: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a heterogeneous disease with clinical and immunological features. Most MS cases occur sporadically, but considerable proportion of patients have family history MS.The etiology pathophysiology remain unclear.Recent epidemiological gene expression studies indicated that dysregulation microRNAs (miRNAs) may play role in pathogenesis. This study aimed to evaluate the differential miRNAs sporadic (sMS) familial (FMS) patients. Materials Methods:This cross-section, single-center was conducted 20 FMS 10 sMS 8 healthy controls. The were remission. In total, 2,549 miRNA genes screened blood mononuclear cells from whole samples depending on miRBase 21.Differential identified compared control group, fold change ≥2 validated using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction.Differentially expressed then between patients. Results: Initial findings showed miR-5100 hsa-miR-16-2-3p increased miR-432-3p decreased sMS, whereas miR-548-aa, hsa-miR-142-3p, miR-451-b both FMS, miR-548-v only sMS.Some same patterns groups. Conclusion:Differential certain be useful biomarker diagnosis MS.This discriminate subtypes, as earlier studies.
