ABSTRACT
Omphalocele is a congenital abdominal wall defect with herniation of viscera into sac. Tc-99m DMSA renal cortical scan functional imaging technique used for detecting parenchymal defects, mostly in patients recurrent urinary tract infection as well abnormalities. Renal anomalies are known to accompany omphalocele. In this retrospective study, we present case cephalad ectopia observed on scintigraphy patient omphalocele due large hernia sac containing most the liver; and review abnormalities associated literature.
