ABSTRACT
Chronic migraine (CM) is defined as headache occurring on 15 or more days per month for than three months, which, at least 8 month, has the features of headache.In International Classification Headache Disorders, CM a separate entity and presence drug overuse removed from being an exclusion criterion.CM accounts 10% all patients includes group with most prominent disease-related disability.Diagnosis often overlooked do not receive appropriate treatment.CM associated social economic burdens such frequent use health services, overuse, significant disruption to work school life.Compared episodic migraine, comorbid disorders are important in chronicity, treatment, course.With treatment CM, it possible increase quality life patient reduce burden migraine.In this review, disease accompanying diseases, current options reviewed.
