ABSTRACT
This study is the first mycological evaluation of bat guano and air around it in Harmanecka ´and Driny Caves Slovakia.These caves are most important underground localities bats Slovakia.Samples were collected July 2014 cultivated for fungi.Harmanecka ´Cave had seven species filamentous fungi one yeast-like fungus isolated from guano, compared to six Cave.Air samples twelve fungi, nine Cave.Fungal density was higher Cave (4720.1 CFU/g guano) than (3498.3CFU/g).The pattern reversed with air.Fungal Ćave (211.3CFU/m 3 ) that (175.7 CFU/m ).Penicillium granulatum frequently fungal species, except Cave, where Mucor hiemalis common.Bat a very good substrate development survival caves, can be reservoir harmful bats.However, both contained more because majority transferred ecosystems bioaerosols external environment.
