ABSTRACT
The study investigated the effects of varying dietary calcium (Ca) levels and sources oil on performance broiler chickens. A total 378 one-day-old birds were fed 6% palm (PO), soybean (SO) or linseed (LO) in combination with three Ca, 1%, 1.25% 1.5%, for six weeks a 3 x factorial experiment. Birds diet supplemented SO PO had higher average daily gains, more abdominal fat greater villi height compared those LO. However, feed efficiency, apparent digestibility organic matter, ether extract, crude protein ash similar across treatments. Regardless source, chickens diets containing 1.5% Ca lower bodyweight protein, extract phosphorus (P) than 1% Ca. In contrast, ash, P did birds. Interaction between source level mineral was significant. It can be concluded that could used as an alternative to oils improve growth Moreover, increasing nutrient digestibility, regardless type current study. Keywords: Broiler performance, levels, oil, villus
