ABSTRACT
Recent data show that no age group is excluded from the possibility of SARS-CoV-2 infection. However, it more likely to affect elderly with comorbidities such as cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, diabetes, hypertension can lead progression COVID-19.Dyslipidemia often found these comorbid diseases.According recent findings, lipoproteins, particularly high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), may play a role in regulating entry virus into host cell.In fact, HDL-C has many beneficial properties, including anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, anti-thrombotic, anti-infectious, anti-apoptotic, intercellular communication, pro-vasodilator capacities.HDL-C an affinity for binding neutralization pathogen. The link between COVID-19 lipid-dependent pathologies not yet been fully understood. We draw attention molecules functions involved HDL-C.Because therapeutic compounds regulate metabolism be used treatment recently.
