ABSTRACT
In addition to its role as a barrier between blood and tissues, the vascular endothelium is responsible for synthesis released of number vasodilators including prostaglandins, nitric oxide endotheliumderived hyperpolarizing factor (EDHF).As one these vasodilators, specific nature EDHF has not been fully elucidated, although roles have proposed.Importantly, many conditions, such hypertension, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, ischemiareperfusion diabetes mellitus comprise endothelial dysfunction with dysregulation. This article reviews reports on in diabetesrelated dysfunction.
