ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to identify the Colletotrichum species causing anthracnose disease of strawberry in Balgladesh and evaluate vitro activity commercial fungicides it.Based on morphological cultural characteristics, all 22 isolates were identified as gloeosporioides.They developed white or glittery colonies with grey dark reverse colony colors they produced cylindrical conidia.The efficacy five fungicides, Bavistin DF, Dithane M-45, Sulcox 50 WP, Corzim WP Rovral tested against fungus.Bavistin inhibited radial growth completely followed by M-45.In DF treated media, fungus did not produce percent inhibition increased increasing concentrations fungicide.
