Factors Associated with Adolescent Pregnancy in Selebar District Bengkulu City

ABSTRACT
Adolescent pregnancy is a common public health problem around the world. associated with major reproductive problems that are at risk of complications and childbirth such as eclampsia puerperal endometritis which cause maternal death well attempts to practice unsafe abortion. The purpose this study was identify analyze factors adolescent in District Selebar, Bengkulu City. It an analytical survey research corss sectional approach. population all young women aded 15-19 years  wide district. number samples 105 people Sampling technique using probability proportional size method. instrument used questionnaire. Data analysis form univariate bivariate Chi-Square (χ2) statistical test, amount calculation Odd Ratio (OR) 95% confidence interval. Result showed 66% respondents 'last education basic education, 59% respondents' knowledge low category, 70% 'parents' income level, 57% were influenced by peers incidence 55%. There significant relationship between knowledge, parents' peer influence on Selebar OR 2.76; 2.98; 3,45 3 respectively. conclusion teenage detrimental therefore step improve early age sex so adolescents open about organs more responsible taking action. In addition increasing awareness enforcing marriage law, ensuring access for women.
