ABSTRACT
Capacitive energy storage technology becomes more popular due to the fast charging facilities. Bismuth titanate (BIT) is a lead-free ferroelectric material used as dielectric medium in capacitive system. La and Nd co-doped BIT has been synthesized through solid-state reaction process obtain improved properties. Various characterization technologies such Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) X ray diffraction (XRD) have done sure completion absence of impurity phase BIT. Rietveld refinement XRD carried out investigate crystal structural properties Nd-doped performances tested by measuring parallel plate capacitance quality factor ceramics. Co-doped possesses highest density, which results high Q factor. The unit cell TiO6 octahedral highly distorted consequence co-doping, increases surface polarization, increases.
