ABSTRACT
The coastal waters of Pariaman City, directly linked to the Indian Ocean, hold a significant potential for harnessing energy from wind and sea waves. This study aims identify an eco-friendly alternative source derived waves reduce reliance on traditional fossil fuels such as oil coal. wave patterns in this area exhibit considerable promise with speeds ranging 0.2 11.5 m/s. Additionally, heights are notable, particularly October, where they range 0.65 1.7 m annually. These natural features can be leveraged generate electrical through ocean power plants. substantial renewable potential, largely influenced by recurring cycles monsoons, offers bright future sustainability City.
