ABSTRACT
The therapeutic approach of patients with two or more autoimmune diseases is quite a challenge, especially when the treatment one them, can precipitate progression other. Even though association rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) rare; both coexist, use methotrexate other hepatotoxic drugs should be used caution. With most widespread indication biologic disease- modifying antirheumatic (bDMARDs) some reports RA PBC treated etanercept, infliximab, rituximab, tocilizumab abatacept have been published. We report case series that includes 4 bDMARDs. This first to describe cases in which golimumab was control second who received adalimumab abatacept. Three rituximab published date. None our suffered their PBC; matter fact, them showed an improvement biochemical parameters. symptoms did not get worse any patients. On contrary, laboratory parameters improved four
