Emerging Influential Factors in Malaysia’s Halal Industry Development Ecosystem: A Story from Systematic Literature Review and Bibliometric Study

This study aims to review and analyse key factors influencing the growth of Malaysia’s halal industry by looking at research from 2019 2023 using Scopus data. The goal is better understand shaping development in Malaysia. uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) bibliometric analysis (BA) carefully current research. It follows PRISMA Protocol, which involves steps like identifying, screening, evaluating relevant studies. findings highlight that (1) sustainability has been major focus over past five years; (2) addition sustainability, policy brand management have frequently studied; (3) on covers topics certification, standards, supply chains, and; (4) focuses stakeholder management, loyalty, positioning, culture. contributes summarising organising terms influence industry. suggests future should use methods different fields explore emerging topics. Finally, this offers insights recommendations for industrial players identifying either connect or disconnect within ecosystem.
