ABSTRACT
This study aimed to investigate the impact of feeding by different corn silage (CS) proportions on ewes milk yield and fatty acids composition. Twenty-one lactating Assaf were divided into 3 groups (7 each). The following dietary treatments based increasing proportion CS in total mixed ratio (TMR) tested; (1) 47 % AH (0 TMR) correspond 0 CS, (2) 23.5 (23.5 50 (3) (47 100 CS. After 8 weeks feeding, type diet had no significant effect solid; however, it significantly affects fat. levels C8:0 C14:0 not affected levels. While C10:0 C12:0 increased when fed a diet. However, lower level C16:0 (33.22 %) was observed compared at (40.66 37.98 %, respectively). Similar trend for C18:0, lowest with diets (7.52, 12.69, 10.61 100, 50, Total USFA decreased (p < 0.05) feeding. It can be concluded that replacement alfalfa some influence composition, especially profile.
