ABSTRACT
This study investigated the potential for energy savings and reduction in CO2 emissions hospital buildings Bosnia Herzegovina (B&H), through implementation of renovation measures. The building sector B&H is characterized by significant consumption, hospitals account a substantial portion total consumption public buildings. analyzes certain measures selected buildings, including installation thermal insulation on exterior walls flat roofs, photovoltaic plant roof. Preference Selection Index (PSI) multicriteria decision-making method was employed to evaluate rank scenarios based energy, environmental, financial criteria. results indicate that most preferred measure roof, resulting primary savings, with an acceptable discounted payback period. findings emphasize effectiveness enhancing efficiency reducing environmental impact B&H.
