ABSTRACT
Context. Cool star model atmospheres are a common tool for the investigation of stellar masses, ages and elemental abundance composition. Theoretical atmospheric models strongly depend on atomic data used when calculating them. Aims. We present changes in flux temperature stratification changing from iron computed by R.L. Kurucz mid 90s to 2009 computations. Methods. MAFAGS-OS opacity sampling were recomputed with as implemented VALD database Ryabchikova. Temperature emergent distribution new version, called MAFAGS-OS9, is compared former version solar measurements. Results. Using line lists converted into format bound-free opacities Mg i Al leads not more than 28 K. At same time, calculated shows significantly better agreement between observations theoretical models. These corresponding small, but nevertheless magnitude that affects parameter determinations analysis.
