ABSTRACT
This paper presents the Smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) model to examine propagation of a regular and irregular waves. The SPH method is grid-less Lagrangian approach which capable good accuracy in tracking large deformations free surface. computations are validated against experimental data agreement observed. modelling shown provide promising tool predicting transformation different Keywords: numerical methods, waves, random wave, physical modelling, SPH, fluid viscosity, number.
