ABSTRACT
The search for telluric extrasolar planets with the Radial Velocity (RV) technique is intrinsically limited by stellar jitter due to activity of star, because surface inhomogeneities, including spots, plages and convective granules, induce perturbations hiding or even mimicking planetary signal. This kind noise poorly understood in all stars, but Sun, their unresolved surfaces. For these reasons, effects inhomogeneities on measurement RV are very difficult characterize. On other hand, a better knowledge phenomena can allow us step forward our understanding solar sources. will develop more tools an optimal correction leading precise RVs. Due high spatial resolution which Sun observed, this well known it. Despite this, link lacking between single observed photospheric behavior as star. LOCNES (Low Cost NIR Extended Solar Telescope) gather time series RVs order disentangle different contributions (i.e., solar) jitter. Since July 2015, Low Telescope (LCST) has been installed outside TNG dome feed light HARPS-N spectrograph (0.38-0.69 $\mu$m; R=115000). refurbishment Near Infrared (NIR) High Resolution Spectrograph GIANO (now GIANO-B) new observing mode GIARPS at (simultaneous observations visible unique opportunity extend wavelength range up 2.4 $\mu$m measuring paper outlines project its scientific drivers.
