ABSTRACT
The true coincidence summing (TCS) correction factor for a Broad Energy Germanium (BEGe) detector has been calculated at far and close geometry measurement using multi-energetic radioactive $\gamma$-ray sources $^{60}$Co, $^{133}$Ba $^{152}$Eu. factors were experimental method analytical method. Photopeak efficiency total required to calculate the obtained Geant4 Monte Carlo simulation code. A few standard as well fabricated mono-energetic also included in measurements. simulated efficiencies of matched by optimizing parameters. same parameters used obtain photopeak our interest coincident $\gamma$-ray. Analytical found good agreement with each other.
