ABSTRACT
The NA61/SHINE experiment at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron studies onset of deconfinement in strongly interacting matter through a beam energy scan particle production collisions nuclei varied sizes. This paper presents results on inclusive double-differential spectra, transverse momentum and rapidity distributions mean multiplicities $\pi^\pm$, $K^\pm$, $p$ $\bar{p}$ produced $^{40}$Ar+$^{45}$Sc momenta 13$A$, 19$A$, 30$A$, 40$A$, 75$A$ 150$A$~\GeVc. analysis uses 10\% most central collisions, where observed forward defines centrality. dependence $K^\pm$/$\pi^\pm$ ratios as well inverse slope parameters $K^\pm$ mass are placed between those found inelastic $p$+$p$ Pb+Pb collisions. obtained here establish system-size hadron properties that so far cannot be explained either within statistical or dynamical models.
