ABSTRACT
A new era of lunar exploration has begun with participation all major space agencies. This activity brings opportunities for revolutionary science experiments and observatories on the Moon. The idea a gravitational-wave detector was already proposed during Apollo program. key characteristic Moon is that it seismically extremely quiet. It also pointed out permanently shadowed regions at poles provide ideal conditions detection. In recent years, three different concepts were varying levels technological complexity potential. this paper, we confront in terms their observational capabilities based first more detailed modeling instrumental noise. We identify important challenges potential show-stoppers.
