ABSTRACT
Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is a promising transmission scheme employed at the physical layer to improve spectral efficiency. In this paper, we develop novel cross-layer approach by employing NOMA and instantly decodable network coding (IDNC) in downlink cellular networks. Following approach, two IDNC packets are selected for each transmission, with one designed all receivers other only strong which can employ successive interference cancellation (SIC). The selection, rates adaption packets, power allocation jointly considered throughput of network. Given intractability problem, decouple it into separate subproblems, scheduling selects given allocation, scheduling. be reduced maximum weight clique heuristic algorithms named as vertex (MWV) search path based (MWP-MWV) developed solve first subproblem.
